Sonate für Fagott und Klavier (Sonata Milanese) op. 47

Die Sonata Milanese von Iván Eröd, die 1984 im Auftrag des Fagottisten Milan Turkovic geschrieben wurde, ist ein abwechslungsreiches dreisätziges Werk. Hier werden die typischen Charakteristika des Instruments dargestellt. (das ORCHESTER 3/09)   (…) the nifty Sonata Milanese, a witty, warm and whimsical composition, which the composer Iván Eröd wrote for his colleague and friend Milan Turkovic. The first movement is a tongue-in-cheek Allegro molto; the second is a delicate and beautiful movement in which the tempo marking Andante tranquillo sums it up perfectly; and the last movement breaks into a devilish Presto after a slow introduction, which brings the work to a fast, but surprisingly quiet conclusion.
